Subject description: Need help with specifications of Roland D-50 crystal

Hello! I need specs on the Roland D-50 32.768 MHz crystal for the LA32 chip. Can someone provide this info, or offer a suitable sub? There are pads on the board for C load compensation caps but are not used. I'm assuming these are for using a different type of crystal? Thanks everyone!

That frequency is very common - I think it was originally developed for cheap watches. You should be able to put just about any similar crystal in place.

Regarding the caps - those are generally provided to increase the likelihood that the crystal will oscillate - they must not have needed them.

Anyway, these things are real cheap - if this one is mechanically compatible, it will probably work:

If you're not sure, you could just pick two or three different ones, and order them all - one of them is bound to work...
