Hey,

I quite enjoy bending multieffects at the moment and I realised that they really shine with internal feedbacks.
Right now, I have the input wired directly to the output with a pot in between to influence the amount of the feedback. But there's a few problems with this setup:

- The feedback is different depending on something being plugged in or not.
- If I have a microphone on the input, it sometimes starts to act like a speaker.
- The effects output is stereo, which meansthe feedback affects the left and right channels differently (I could actually live with that)

Could anyone around please give me a hint on how to buffer the feedback?
Possibly some schematics or something?

Thanks a lot,
der Warst

I think a simple 2-input mixer on the input would work. Can't seem to find a good schematic now, so I might draw something myself later.
Here are some examples, but assuming you have a single power supply (battery ?) you'll probably need a virtual/fake ground.

Hey, Thanks.

That looks do-able . Smile
Have to look if I have any opamps lying around I can use for that. Do you have any recommendations?

well, I'm no expert when it comes to opamps,. can only suggest what I use.
Since you'll probably have a single power supply an LM358 (dual) or LM324
(quad) should work fine. TL07x will probably do the job too, but has less
headroom and therefor might distort more. (I see I still haven't drawn that
schematic Rolling Eyes )
