Hi everyone,

I've been talking with some modular synth folks about what is needed as far as component parts and have been told that a CV to MIDI Clock and/or MIDI Clock to CV interface would be useful.

I make a module that can do that, called the PedalSync Master Control. Here's a link to the datasheet:

A CV can be used to switch a 4066 that grounds the Tap input. A continuous stream of pulses can then vary the tempo. The module also has synchronized pulse and reset outputs for 4017 decade counters which are used in some sequencer designs.

In addition, the module stores and recalls the tempo for 128 programs and sends MIDI Program Change, MIDI Start, and Stop messages.

A stand alone midi clock source , pretty sure i will want one. Smile

I'm not sure what width typical modular synth modules are, but the Dev. Board is 100 mm wide by 73 mm tall.

It seems like it would be straightforward to mount it to a faceplate.
