Nice idea! Shame the cover is so uninspiring. Actually, looking at O'Reilly's site, all their books look awful. Hopefully the content won't reflect their presentation.

EDIT: Oh ok. I see. It's Make who have the Soviet looking covers.

Looking forward to this. Those Make books helped me get a lot of the way into electronics - simple examples and well explained.

Yeah, really excited about this, was just reading his site the other day thinking it would be great to have all that info in a book. ALmost emailed him to suggest it

Just seen this. Ray is great and the information on his website has helped me a great deal. Make produce clear and interesting publications. I like SDIY.

I would think so because the site content wouldnt fill a book. There might well be some duplication but I would understand why.

I'm about a third of the way through an edit pass on the near-final-draft of this. I think everyone is going to be really excited about it, and it is for sure going to bring new folks into the fold.
