Thanks to Rob for showing how to tame DIY filter resonance, this simple 1 VCO bass synth has a 18dB low pass with a level scaler module used as a soft clipper. This gives very fine control of upper and lower clipping shape, small -dB values work best for valve/OTA type clipping. Also from one of Rob’s ideas, the basic wave can be alternated between pos and negative values and combined with diode clipping, gives a good selection of interesting waveforms from a single saw.
