I found a lot more things at namm this year & it's all uploaded now. There seemed to be an increase in modular synthesizers and there was a new instrument called the "wheelharp" which sounded amazing! There is also a physical modeling guitar app being made by researchers from Standford including Julius O. Smith III who we have to thank for most physical modeling synths.
