P'tit lu all...

First, sorry for my bad english. Sad

I use a Roland VG-99 for both guitar modelisations and internal synths.
Now, I need to use the Guitar-To-MIDI function of VG-99 to drive Slot A (for example) on my Nord Modular G2 Engine.
This function have 2 modes: Mono or Poly.
First one turn my guitar into 6 MIDI channels. I just have to select the channel Number for the first E string. This MONO mode, is the only one that permit to drive different tones from diferent strings. For exemple, a Pad on strings 1 to 4 (e, B, G, D), and Bass Lead on strings 5 and 6 (A, E).

My problem is I couldn't find any way to keep this MONO Mode while I have to drive only one tone.
I tried to use the NoteZone module to filtering/routing each 6 MIDI Channels to one, but I fear I don't use it correctly or it has a bug.

My settings are like that:
NMG2E:
-Global Channel=1
-SlotA MIDI Channel=2
-SlotB MIDI Channel=3
-SlotC MIDI Channel=4
-SlotD MIDI Channel=5
Need to drive a simple patch on SlotA
MIDI-Guitar is set like that:
-String e send notes on MIDI Channel 2
-String B send notes on MIDI Channel 3
-String G send notes on MIDI Channel 4
-String D send notes on MIDI Channel 5
-String A send notes on MIDI Channel 6
-String E send notes on MIDI Channel 7

In my patch, I inserted 5 occurrences of NoteZone module setted like that:
NoteZone1: Rcv-Chan=3; Min=C-1; Max=G9; Send-Trans=0; Chan=2; LetThru=Note+Ctrls
NoteZone2: Rcv-Chan=4; Min=C-1; Max=G9; Send-Trans=0; Chan=2; LetThru=Note+Ctrls
NoteZone3: Rcv-Chan=5; Min=C-1; Max=G9; Send-Trans=0; Chan=2; LetThru=Note+Ctrls
NoteZone4: Rcv-Chan=6; Min=C-1; Max=G9; Send-Trans=0; Chan=2; LetThru=Note+Ctrls
NoteZone5: Rcv-Chan=7; Min=C-1; Max=G9; Send-Trans=0; Chan=2; LetThru=Note+Ctrls

f course, I just have sound while playing string "e" but nothing while plucked 5 other ones. Sad...

Can anybody help me please?

Thank you.

Pfff... Finally found the solution...
Send Chan must set to Slot A for each modules... Embarassed

Glad that you found a solution! I'd love to see your patch, if you'd like to attach it here in the thread! Of course, I'll understand if you don't want to share it.

No problemo for that, but please wait some weeks because I'm just exploring some ways about this duet "NMG2E/VG-99", and I haven't any interesting patches to share for the moment.
But, ASAP, be sure I'll share them. Wink
