This is my first venture into circuit bending..

Just kind of wanted to show somebody.
While working on it I found a lot of information on this forum that helped along the way, so to all of you, thanks.

Next up: Concertmate 450.

Awesome!

Care to elaborate on what bends you incorporated?

Thanks. Unfortunately, I neglected to really document most of what i've done. (beginners error)

I can kind of give an overview.
Most of the switches are just connections between the rom and ram chips for random sounds and loops, but I can kind of explain what the 3 pots do.

1. distortion: I somehow took the melody output and looped it back through the preamp chip. It doesn't affect the percussion.

2. pitch: removed the tuning pot and replaced it.

3. drum pitch: raises the pitch of drums without altering tempo. I read about this mod somewhere, but not how to do it. Luckily I randomly found it myself.

Wish I could be more specific. Perhaps I will take it apart again and see what I did.

Overall it sounds pretty cool. (will hopefully have a link to a video or sound clip soon) Now, if only I could get rid of that damn dog bark...

But barking dogs playing jingle bells is the whole point!
