Subject description: I don't get it.

I tried both of the schematics (with pictures) posted on this thread and neither worked for me.

The Aaron Cram one didn't work for me with the shown values or when multiplied by 10. (to make 100k and 47k values.

and neither did the schematic with 100k and 220k resistors.

what's the deal? anyone else have problems with them. used a 741 op amp with +/-15v.

you are right, ian. and that's actually the method i used for the attenuverting mixer Shocked . i just added a trimmer for calibration...


If I want to use 10k pots instead of 100k pots (because I have a whole bunch of them), should I lower the values of the 220k resistors by a factor of 10 too?
