Has anyone tried making any high quality reverb on the G2 using short delay lines (not the reverb module). I did a forum search but the word reverb is used so frequently I just got too many irrelevant threads.

I ask because I'm reorganizing my studio a bit and was wondering whether to buy a reverb box like the Eventide Space or some nice rack unit. Right now I use a cheap Lexicon, which osunds OK but I would like more hands-on control). Then I thought that in theory it should be possible to make reverb patches on the G2 using an allpass delay network...

Oh, thanks - this is exactly what I was looking for, and I'd never have found it since Tim decided to refer to it as a chorus.

Very Happy it took me a little while and I knew i had posted in it somewhere!

The moving delay lines with right settings and patchings sounded very much like some of the reverb algos in my H3000. TiM is a genius. Smile

Sorry Embarassed Laughing . I didn't dare to call it a reverb because it isn't one in the complete sense. Actually it's a stripped down and simplified version of the late reflections stage of an unfinished G2 high-end reverb project. (I have tons of unfinished G2 projects lying around. Rolling Eyes) It sounded good enough in its own right so I cleaned it up and posted it. It sure does those spacy super-lush thingies on pads.
