Not sure where I should post this, but here goes: my latest project. A simple Microcassette Tape Delay!
Check my blog for all details + video/sound.

Very cool. I've been thinking about doing something similar. |

which reminds me that, besides a couple of walkman's, I have some bare casette mechanisms laying around.
Maybe I can do something similar with it. |
That sounds like a neat idea! But again, watch how little space it takes to just recycle a dictaphone with a small amp and the cassette and head mechanism. I don't see how one could re-invent a more simplistic design for the whole motor and head function but I am keen to be enlightened on the subject! _________________ www.dogenigt.com

Great idea! Would cause some great tonal qualities in all the hum and noise. _________________ www.dogenigt.com

Is that necessary? Most DC motors are already voltage or current controlled. _________________ Weblog! |

Well then, just add an input jack for external voltage control! |

well, right now I am having a variable resistor between 2 points on each pcb for changing motor speed. Haven't tried controlling the motors directly, you might have a point here. But a vactrol would be easy to exhange with the current pot with this "bend" method I am using for motor speed. _________________ www.dogenigt.com
