I'm wondering what kind of paints people use for printing on aluminum panels and how they clear coat them.

I have gone to a local silk screening studio to do it and have had success, but they lost the type of lacquer spray they used and can't seem to get good results. Aside from this I would like to eventually do it all from my workshop.

I've been using toner transfer method for panel silk screening. Its the same process as making PCBs.
I print the design out on glossy paper and transfer the design to aluminium panels with an iron. remove that paper and it should look something like this.

To protect the silk screen it's best to use Lacquer. I'm in the UK and the best lacquer i've found so far is this

Sorry i don't have a camera to show the finished results but i'm pretty happy Wink .
