I built Yusynth's Minimoog filter about four years ago, and use it often.

I turned my modular on the other day and it had stopped passing signal. Somehow, the wire that connects the Cutoff pot with ground has come loose. I soldered it back, turned it on, and still nothing.

I fed a 0-6vpp saw tooth from my ARP Odyssey oscillator into the filter.

The signal at the input (pin 6) of the TL072 I read at -6 to -3vpp and there's no signal at the output (pin 7).

I've swapped out the TL072, but I still have the same problem, so it's not the opamp.

If someone could shed some light on this problem, that would be great!

Thanks,

Matt

hallo matt,
have you checked the 15V at the pin 8 refer to ground and the -15V at the pin 4?
what do you mean with"The signal at the input (pin 6) of the TL072 I read at -6 to -3vpp"?
Have you read it from an oscilloscope ?
The Vpp value is always positive, is the sum of the negative half wave and the positive half wave (i.e. +5V max and -5vmax =10 Vpp)

Bye
