Hi all,

It's probably my first post here, but I have been reading the forum for a few years. I'm looking for something (read: software) I could use to merge and modify MIDI (mostly in realtime, like on stage or home studio). So far I have only used Brainspawn Forte http://www.brainspawn.com/ with their Ehco add-in, but it's quite limited. Any other possibilities? Lastly I found Soundigy Midi Processor http://www.soundigy.com/midiprocessor.php and Midi Patchbay http://www.soundigy.com/midipatchbay.php, but I haven't had time to test it yet. Any tips? Btw. it could be also app for iOS or even Android (is there any app for manipulating MIDI signals available for Android?).

Cheers

max, or Pd?

PureData has the advantage of being free. Max has the advantage of doing a lot more than just midi and audio, and is supported. Also Max has a slick interface.

I think you can get PureData for iOS free from that link there...
