Another in the Hyper series, this time square, for all those not making trance music Embarassed . Not so many oscillators as the hyper saw because I find there are diminishing returns for adding extra oscillators. Two is much fatter than one, three is fatter than two, four is a little bit fatter than 3 etc, etc.
Other enhancements are a chained gain system for the extra oscillators which adjusts from all 100% to only the primary, mid settings have the more detuned oscillators tapered off.
Also a 4 phase PWM lfo. This is not based on any other synth module or VA, just an idea. Variation two uses the wheel to morph from a single square to near maximum everything. Only 4 variations, the rest is a common VCF/2ADSR/VCA so you can create your own variations.

Cool. I remember a beast called a PolyMoog in 70s. I made sounds similar to this.

I agree. This is a great classical sounding synth patch, very analog-like. Thanks for sharing it.

Gregory

P.S. The picture of the old Moog sure looks good.

LOL! The Polymoog had about two good sounds, it’s only relative in synthesiser history is the Korg PS series. Both had the hybrid organ, synthesiser on a chip type architecture. Korg did a much better job though, the Polymoog’s on chip filter was so lame that they put in a global (only one) moog ladder filter which made it play like an ARP omni.
I think this keyboard may have played a big part in the demise of Moog Music.

Ha ha, you are probably right. It was a turkey. I didn't want to come out and say that because I said it sounded like your patch. Laughing
