VCA Rider v5 pcbs

Linear VCA with extras.
The VCA core is a Mike Sims design from EDN magazine.
See here:

http://www.teaser.fr/~amajorel/sims/

The boards can be built in a variety of ways to suit your needs.
Add a VCA to your custom builds. Add a VCA to your DotCom modules (mounting holes match the small DotCom pcbs so you can stack them, thus the name "Rider").
Make a separate VCA module. Build a xfade or pan with two boards.

Pcb features:
3 input summer, pre-VCA stage.
Output stage includes an extra input to mix in a signal post-VCA.
2 CV inputs
Offset/Intial/Gain/Bias control (whatever you want to call it!)
2 input "free" summing stage. Use this to invert CV or whatever else you can think of.
Reverse power protection.
Other bells and whistles.

+/-15V power
4-pin MTA156 MOTM/Blacet and 6-pin DotCom power connector.
Can run off +/-12V with a few resistor changes (see doc).

Board is 1.9" x 2.9"

Price = $10 each + shipping

US Shipping for 1-10 pcbs = $3

Overseas contact me for shipping cost.

These are non-RoHS boards. They contain lead.
customs form will read - spare parts, printed circuit board.

Tally up your order and send paypal to:

phil(at)megaohmaudio.com

Make sure to include shipping and list the quantity you want in the subject line, please.

It depends on how many you want.
It seems that 1-4 pcbs shipped anywhere in Europe is $5.
5-7 pcbs is $6.

Thank you everyone for your orders.
All were shipped out today via USPS 1st Class mail.
Hope they get to you quick.

The last page of the build dock is a blank parts placement sheet.
Use this to document your build if it is different than the standard.
Feel free to post them here, your blog, wherever you like.
It's like paint by numbers.
:hihi:

As soon as I get some other work out of the way I'll post a few of my own (xfade, bipolar CV attenuation, etc.).

I am and they are in stock, too.
I plan to keep these in stockfor the foreseeable future.

I will also have two or three more pcb designs for sale within the next two months.
I have a boatload of different designs that I have worked on over the years.
I always intended on releasing them as completed modules to add to the MegaOhm lineup.
But that business is way slow and most of my work is custom built modules in various formats now.
So I want to put these designs out as pcbs for the SDIY world.
I'm starting with designs that are on the simpler and smaller side:

vactrol xfade/pan/dual VCA pcb
balanced output pcb
simple and small header conversion pcb (I need these all the time!!!)

I'll post new threads for these once they come in and check out OK.
