HI ,Yves ,i found you guys made MINIMOOG VCF few years ago ,i was so excited to clone it .
Followed your website ,step by step ,i finally finished it .
however , the cutoff didnt work at all .
i've checked too many times and days ,no result :<
EMPHASIS works good it can easily get oscillated by fully clockwise.
And also the output sounds as loud as the original source ,a little bit warmer without distorction .
So Cutoff confuse me alot, could you pliz tell me ,which parts i should check more over again ?
thank you very much |

Start with the simplest things first -
The Cutoff knob should produce a variable voltage on the center pin. Make sure it does. If it doesn't, verify that the other two pins are going where they should
Once that is working correctly, just follow the voltage. There will be an op-amp that sums the control voltages together. Make sure it's output is moving properly. If not, check the +/- power and and the feedback loop on the op-amp.
Just keep following the CV path until you find the problem...
Good luck

Yes, do as Mongo1 says, this is the logical path to follow. _________________ Yves |
