Just wondered if anyone has built anything from the modules available from Hearn Morley?

Yeah I have built a couple of HMVCO1c modules, really easy build and a very stable workhorse VCO. I added a 4024 to give -1 oct square, -2 oct square and a couple of diodes to give -2oct pulse - all opamp buffered too.

My layout is pretty cool, but a originally went with just a coarse tune knob and a +1 oct/normal/-1oct toggle, it really needs a fine tune too, so I gotta do some revisions...

The challenge of doing a run of these is stumping up the initial amount for to get a decent price break for a bulk order of chips.

I've got a couple of the VCF chips too, planning to do a Prophet style filter when I get time.

I have been lucky enough to build all three now. I have built 2 x osc, the filter as 24db lowpass and the 12db stereo filter and just recently i have built the adsr with cv inputs for the a,d,s and r. All are fantastic i cant really say much more really. The chips are pretty hardy and as i'm new at this they have taken my abuse very well. The oscillators and the filters i made on bread board but with the adsr i made a design in eagle and gave etching a go.

o.k., just for the note in this forum

after a bit of reading and getting biiig smiles of the soundexamples I found that frequency central said at muffwiggler that he plans to do a Kickstarter Project for the VCO-Chip.
There might also be an offer for the PCB + some other chips

well, I'm in Smile

Hope I can get my hands on some ADSR PCB's from littlem4tt too Smile

i have quite a good response with this ADSR. After thorough testing i might get some pcbs printed. There are a couple of things i want to change in the design. It is quite hard to solder because i made the pads a bit too small.
If you fancy making it yourself i don't mind sharing the eagle files.
Or wait a few months and i might be ready to get some pcb's made properly.

For I have some 20 unsoldered PCBs laying around here and I never etched myself befor I will wait Wink
But don't forget me and count me in with about 4 PCBs Smile

Hey I built up the VCO, but running it from +/-9v. It's getting CV control from an Arduino via a MCP4921 DAC.

Yesterday I received a second one and they really sound so fat together. Just need to get them scaling correctly.
