Hi All.

This may well be a dumb question but I have very little knowledge of MIDI, so I'm looking for a little help.

I have a semi-modular, mainly MFOS synth and I wanted it to have MIDI control. I have built the excellent Hexinverter MIDI2CV kit (based on the Alain Coupel ACXSynth design). This is working very well, but I've realised that I no longer have portamento as I'm bypassing the MFOS keyboard controller. I've been looking at MIDI sites which seem to suggest that you can produce portamento, but I've had no success so far. Admittedly, I'm using a really cheap MIDI keyboard (MK149 - Evolution Music Creator Pro), but I don't know if that makes any difference.

I could easily create an add-on circuit to produce potamento, but I don't want to do this if it's already possible as it is.

Any help would be very welcome,

Gary
