Hello electro-musicians. I tried to install hawk 800 mod, and have an issues. When I installed hawk 800, it wont power on. I put original IC29 and IC22. And it works but with some missed features (no midi, no waveforms selection, noise on low octaves DCO). Michael Hawkins said it can be a problem in IC29 connection. Actually I did not touch anything but IC22 and IC29. I checked it visually and with multimeter, but no luck. Now I want to try it with schematic.
I am trying to check all connections, but have a problem reading block diagram, as only I have (can not find PCB layout).

Is this dot (in red) connection between 7-15 IC29 ouputs? If yes, I just can`t find it on board. What is YO-7 and AO-7?

Sorry for being very newbie, but I am trying to make it works near 2 weeks.

No, it is not a dot, it is a crossing of two busses A0-7 and Y0-7 .. it would make no sense to connect those, it is just a 'bad copy dot'.

And with bus I meant that one line stands for several wires, 8 in this case.

Such that Y0 .. Y7 are not actually connected to each other either.

Anyway, hope that this cleared it up, otherwise ask!

That one is Y0 from the Y0-7 bus - so it comes from IC 29 pin 15
