Hi friends,

Time past, we have gotten older and wiser. In the meantime I have given up most of my "DIY" ambitions and bought a 2nd hand Tyros3.
I was thinking: it must have taken at least 20 Yamaha engineers 3 years to develop this Tyros; i.e. 60 years for one engineer! - Sorry, I can't match that and ...that's why I bought the Tyros3. Smile

Yet, that fact still did not kill all my DIY ambitions, for now I decided to built that wooden 3-row Janko/ Uniform layout on top of the Tyros Kbd, as I already did with my old Roland D20 Synth.
The only thing I still lack is creating a fitting WYSIWYG Klavarskribo type of notation. If you know how to do that please help me:
I plan to use the KlavarScribo notation to convert MIDI-files to Klavarskribo notation and then a graphic template to correct it, such as this:

Now, that I was almost ready to build a wooden 6x6 Janko layout on top of my Tyros3 Kbd, along came the new Terpstra Midi controller.
They liked my Janko notation and most possibly are going to implement it, because the Janko layout is the Kbd pattern most Kbd players will prefer to relearn a regular Kbd layout.
That means, I have to hold on with my DIY project and wait what's going on, because Terpstra has gotten the vital cash support and it's going to be build.
It will be of course much better than my wooden 6x6 Janko layout.
Here is a picture of my new WYSIWYG Janko notation:
