Just picked it up today off craigslist. So far its a good sounding sampler but a bit confusing to use.

I know there is an OS2.0 going around, and I have seen people replace the floppy drive with card readers.

Anything I need to know? anything I am missing?

I posted this a while ago it seems. After working with the 3000xl for a while, I hate it. Its pretty difficult to create sample sets. The modulation is very limited, the only thing that I actually like about it is that the filter is rubbers and unique.

I ended up getting a emu e6400 that I like a lot more.
