Hi
I just re-bought an A6 I had sold some years back (huge mistake selling it).

I have a few issues I cannot figure out though. I thought I remembered how to do it but I guess not

First, I want to sync all of the sequenced and arpeggiated stuff to MIDI clock. It is pretty obvious how to do that if you want things playing at like 240 bpm or whatever the clock rate is.

I cannot find how to divide the incoming clock rate. I did go back to deciding to trigger the sequencer clock from LFO3, which should be able to sync to external midi and has a division capability. That route did not let me change the tempos at all. I am convinced I am doing something bad wrong. Does the DAW (Sonar) need to transmit midi clock? It sounds like the sequencer is synced but at a speed that is way higher than I want.

Secondly, I have Sonar set up to change banks (controller 0 I think) but it will not let me select the user bank - only the presets. Any way around that?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Grabbed this from the tips and tricks doc. Might this be it?

4.13 LFO SYNC: THE TIXPRD PARAMETER (1/2 note sync, ¼ note sync, etc.)

TIXPRD is a one of the parameters in the SYNC menu. Normally, you hit soft button 3 to enter the LFO sync menu, and you hit LOCAL, CLOCK, AND MIDI to sync to either the A6 master clock (CLOCK) or the MIDI clock (MIDI). TIXPRD allows you to adjust the sync below the standard 24-ticks-per-beat.

This means that you can adjust your LFO speed to ½ MIDI note values, ¼ MIDI note values, etc. easy. Simply divide 24 ticks up. For instance, setting TIXPRD to 12 will sync to double speed (to every MIDI ½ note). Setting TIXPRD to 48 will sync the clock to half speed (every second MIDI note).
