i am working on it. the new layout gives me some headaches, though. it might be necessary to connect the circuit PCB and the controller PCB with ribbon cables...

I've been wondering this too. Good to hear it's still going.

I've been playing with a homebrew 4024 divider connected to either the Barton VCA/Mixer or a matrix mixer and having loads of fun with the sequencing and chopping up possibilities so definitely up for this when it's ready.

yes good to hear its still going
ribbon cables hmm not quite as nice as the usual headers but if things just wont line up right then so be it ,
had to do something similar with one of hexinverters postman EG's
last weekend (16HP euro panel) I etched a single layer panel board for it so no way could i line it all up for headers , so lots of cabling all running through 3 x 10mm holes in the panel board , couldnt go round the outside too close to the panel size. It didnt save me any cabling but it did suit the 9mm pots i had on hand and made board mounting a whole lot easier.

Hello Matthias.
Smile
Are you still thinking of doing a small run of these binary boards ?

I'm still very interested in 2 pcb's only , if you decide to do some.

Thanks
Dave.
