I haven't been able to build anything lately, but I recently visited my parents and brought measurements of my synths. My mother found some inexpensive fabric and made dust covers for all of my synths Very Happy

Sweet. I wish I had dust covers for my gear. I've been known to use garbage bags to keep things clean if the gear isn't going to be used for a few months.

My 2014 build so far: The little MeeBlip Anode synth. It measures only 4" x 4". This is a shot of a production version of the top board mounted on a heavily modified version of the initial prototype:

This thread didn't exist when I finished this up on New Years day -

Dual Benjolin front

Dual Benjolin profile

Dual Benjolin back

No led drivers yet, still waiting on them. The PCBs were etched by decaying.sine - not sure if he's here, he's on muffwiggler.com.

All of these front panels put me to shame Sad .

Here's my latest box. It's based on the ACXSynth MIDI2CV (HexInverter version), but I've added circuits for CV glide, 12V gates and short trigger pulse outputs. I'll probably put more details on this soon (under Musical Interfaces, I think).

It allows me to do pseudo polyphonic things with my "Flightcase Synth", i.e. I can now play 3 note chords (as I have 3 VCOs), but not true polyphony as I don't have 3 VCFs, 3VCAs etc.

Now all I have to do is get the fine tuning of my VCOs right Laughing .

I love that! Anything that promotes the 1980's clock radio aesthetic is great.

I finally finished the Thomas Henry MPS that I started building just over 5 years ago as a sophomore in high school. I found the project in the basement again a few months ago, and decided to finish what I started and make it prettyish (DIY-chic). It sounds amazing! Luckily I didn't have to do much troubleshooting. What started as an organized wiring system turned into a rats nest hell Laughing
