The Andromeda Editor update thread |
|
|
So… we are about a year further in time. How are we all doing with the editor?
I had to take a step away from it for some time, but I am also wondering what else can be done to improve the thing.
Unfortunately (for us, not for him): the app developer has got a new job and by that he has no time to do extensive TB MIDI Stuff updating, meaning the editor pages will have to live with the limitations as they are for now.
But I am very much interested in your input about the pages.
Do they work well?
Are there any changes you would like to see?
Idea's for (new) pages?

Hi Boule.
Was wondering if it would be possible for Andromeda Editor to read presets (sysex files) sent to iPad from computer over wifi? It wouldn't have to transfer to and from Andy but if both synth and editor had same preset loaded then they would look the same and mirror each other exactly as changes were made.
It would get around the transfer problem for the moment.
Thanks again for all your work. |

Hi Silagemaker,
Unfortunately that is not possible. Not with the app as it is now. And as said, the developer has little to zero time. It would need big changes in the app and I am not sure if he would like to do that at all.
I am sorry

No problem.
It's still an amazing piece of work.
By the way I may have missed it but where can I make a donation for all the work you put into it?
It needs more promotion. Both a buyer and seller on Adverts.ie didn't know about it until I told them. Strange.
Cheers
