Hi.

I'm ooZ. And I'm trying to start a revolution. I have no interest in labels or studio management, I want to make a humble, independent living out of my music. And I want everyone else to be able to do the same.

My idea for a new system of music distribution has aspects of crowd sourcing, piracy, fine art, and open source policies. It also has lots of room for creative people to evolve the terms of the concept, by offering exclusivity to buyers for limited periods, for film to get involved, and by offering novel concepts with the item for sale.

Wu Tang have pushed my schedule up with their new one off piece, but their idea seems to be more about keeping an album an elitist piece, and making money while trying to keep the pirates at bay, so to speak.

The idea is simply this; sell a one off, collectable, physical print of your single or album. This collectable then holds and accumulates value. Then a digital version of the music is released for free.

What I need, and what you need if you want this idea to replace the traditional industry model, where people who have nothing to do with the creation of music often take a lions share, is this;

Make this idea viral.

Share the fb page - https://www.facebook.com/officialooZ

Share the youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/user/officialooZ

Share the first item to be sold like this, and the manifesto - http://ow.ly/vbbRG

And lastly, anyone with programming, website design experience - start to build an auction site for this. I can't.

Thanks for reading, and if you got this far, share the shit out of whatever aspect of it you like. Find out if other people agree with your opinion on it. Start a revolution. Break the industry.
