Buried shards of architecture slept without remorse till Evan's minions disinterred them under D. Mackenzie's careful eye. And thus awakened headlong they fell into Arthur's fevered dreams, reemerging with the dawn as some new and dimly formed imagining. Again Mackenzie's skill would invoke a transformation but, this time on unprovenanced debris of mind and so cast an engineered amusement park built of hubris where the West's elite would come and preen and comb their imaginary pedigree.

Lovely pictures, amazing colours in the first one.

When I've travelled through the Alps I've tried to capture the grandeur of the mountains on my cellphone camera in the backseat several times, failed every time. You've managed it pretty well in the mountain pictures here, getting a feel for the layers of mountains being further and further away.

Thanks. I fear the sfumato-like visual recession some of these evince is achieved neither by my skill nor camera (Panasonic FZ200) but by the humidity of the atmosphere. (Though a polarizing filter + humidity helped.)

I will note that many of my shots are ruined as photos because they are shaky-old-man-hand held. I took my tripod but mucked it up before we could even leave the hotel the first time. I trip to a hardware store would have fixed it but that never happened. I would really like to do this again with the tripod and a D800e or better. But that's not likely.
