Im in the process of building 2 LFO controllers (on Fonik's boards). I have all the bits and bobs to make them. Except for the q1 P channel JFET 2n5461, my normal sources in the UK (RS, Farnells, Rapid, Mouser, Bitsbox) dont have any.

What I do have are some 2n5460. Looking at the data sheet I am wondering could I substitute the 2n5461 with 2n5460?

There's enough overlap in specs (gate voltages, transconductance) that I'd say it's at least worth trying it out.
