I like all kinds of synth/electronic music, but I LOVE rhythmic-melodic e-m.

The internet provides endless streaming broadcasts of experimental, space, ambient, dub, house, etc. but it's hard to find "tunes" (in the traditional sense) played on electronic instruments.

I've been a proponent of the form, even going so far as hosting a scrubradio show featuring such music. But finding enough music, even for just 4 broadcast hours a week, was very difficult.

I hadn't visited electro-music.com for a few months and stopped in this week to see what everyone was up to. The banner for e-m/r MKII caught my eye and I clicked it...

WOW!!! WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!

Long story short, my old pal Cynosure (with invaluable assistance from other e-m.com regs) has made my radio show obsolete! And I couldn't be happier!

MKII is seriously interfering with my schedule. I want to listen to it all the time. I might have to get a smart phone so I can walk around all day wearing ear buds (and running into things because I'm not paying attention to my suroundings).

Cynosure and his pals have searched the e-m.com archives for rhythmic-melodic e-m and mined some gems!!! I didn't know most of this stuff was in there!!!

The selections are 99% right up my alley, which is, of course, entirely subjective. This is not everyone's radio stream. But if you love the sound of electronic instruments (and why the @#$% else would you be on this site) you owe it to yourself to check out MKII.

Cynosure informs me that several more "specialized" e-m streams are coming. I'm going to have to grow more ears!!!!
