Hello,
I'm considering buying a Modular G2 Engine but I work with an iMac and MacOS Mavericks.
I downloaded the Modular G2 v1.62 from the Clavia website.
I can open the software and it runs (without a G2 connected, so no audio...).
Does that mean that when I buy a G2 Engine it will work properly on my system? Or won't the USB drivers work?
Does it make sense to buy a G2 Engine when working with MacOS Mavericks (10.9)?
Thanks,
Florian

Thanks for the info.
One other question: How is the Modular G2 Engine embedded in a sequencer environment like Logic Pro X?

Other than it's midi channels, theres nothing embedded in Logic. If you mean in form of a vst/au interface.

yes
the 1.62 editor works fine in mavericks up to 10.9.5 (but mine sometimes lose usb connection, maybe because of complicated usb chain (mbpro - thunderbolt display -> usb hub -> NMG2engine)

logic/ableton integration is fine, since you use dedicated midi out/in, separate midi channels for each slot, map controllers and so on, just like any other external midi device

if you able to create your own midi environment panels in logic or max for live patches in ableton, you may setup your own control panel for the G2
