I built 2 MFOS WSG, and I love them! ( home etched PCB...)

but I've got a Problem with one of the Filters.....

On one WSG the filter kind of works, but it has a lot less impact on the sound than the other one. Crying or Very sad
I've tried swapping the 741, so that's not the problem...

What could be the problem? Where should I start looking?

I'm having the same problem with my noise toaster, (filter cutoff knob has very little effect) and i think it could be the following:

1.accidentally using an Audio Taper pot for the cutoff freq. knob
(would result in all the control lying within the last 5% of 'knob twist)

2. using the wrong sized pot for the control in question…
(maybe a 10K pot was accidentally used where a 1Meg pot should be…)

in hindsight, the MFOS "easy" projects, well if you really want to get nitty gritty, you could populate the PCB in its entirety and then temporarily wire all panel-wiring to a breadboard, test all the knobs there and make sure you have the desired results, THEN solder & screw together your front panel…

anyways, if you find the solution, let me know so I can fix mine!
