I was hoping to go direction from my Yamaha Piaggero USB keyboard to my Casio WT 1350 which is only a MIDI keyboard. I have a USB to MIDI interface cord. I try and get no connection. I would like to just play both keyboards sounds on the Yamaha since it's a 76 key keyboards. Thanks for any help.

USB is only required if you are hooking it up to a computer. You should be able to use a standard MIDI cable to go from one synth to the other.

You may need to adjust something in the synth that is receiving the MIDI data so that it listens to the correct channel. You will need to check the manual for that.

Like a lot of modern keyboards, the Yamaha only has usb inputs. One is flat, and the other is the more square kind.

Oh. Then you might have to route it through your computer in order to make it work. I have never tried to connect two devices together with usb.

You could use one of these if you want to avoid connecting via a computer
