Hi,

I'm in for a couple most definitely! Been lodging at muffs too much and feel I've lost touch here somewhat as I'd not seen this thread until now.
I have a Wasp in a rack that (someone chopped off the keyboard long ago) and it certainly has a unique sound! Its very sluggish though and a limited note range so it will be nice to be able to play a broader spectrum through one of these.
Great idea to make a donation project!

TTFN

Ben

Just curious, but when is this actually going to come together? We've been polling interest since early December... another month? More? Less? Just thought I'd ask.

not my decision. it all depends on the haible family. i will not do anything without their permission.
all i know for now is htat a lawer is involved. so it might still take a while. i hope the momentum gets not lost then. we will have to wait and see...

Ah, I didn't understand... back to sort-of-patiently anticipating mode....

this project is still pending.
i am not sure how this will eventually end up, since we might have lost some momentum since early december? and lawers take their time...

I'd be interested in one or two. I couldn't see this on Muff's, you'd get a ton of interest there.

thanks for your interest, alas, no progress here. did not hear anything from the haible family. i will not spread the word before there is an agreement.
anyways, anyone who wants to help the family can now send money via bank transfer (se thread in the misc forum).

hi there

I appreciate this thread is old, and the reasons behind it may have changed in the last few years, but was wondering if a pcb for the WASP filter (with 13700) is ever going to become available?

Ive always wanted to build one. I might look into trying to make one myself if not.

Many thanks, Ben

Someone (from the DIY community) negotiated with the Haible estate and eventually bought the rights to his IP and is now reproducing boards. Unfortunately I forget who it was, but they're active on the Muffs DIY forum so it would be worth checking there. I don't recollect any mention of the Wasp filter though Sad

Cheers,
A.

yeah i know about that guy, great news.

Not sure if this will go ahead tho, its not really a JH design.

Itll probably be a good exercise to try to make a pcb, or make it on stripboard.

Many thanks
