Im soon doing a soundlab, and was wondering if it was possible to use 12V instead of the dual batteries?
I have a PSU left over from a doepfer mini case that should be enough for a SL and a few other things.

I could use 9V regulators after, though Id prefer 12V so I could include some other modules without worries about voltage differences.

Theres no components I can see that cant take 12V, but I dont know about the design, just noticed that the ultimate used 12V so hoping it might work.

Hi there!

Just out of curiosity, does it still work now with 12v? I was trying exactly the same but I think I just fried IC1, the hex inverter...

Could you let me know if you're having problems with it or not? If not, i'll have to search for the problem somewhere else.

Thanks!

Look up the datasheet for your specific hex inverter. Different families of logic have different voltage ratings.

Hi people!
I use +-12 from my PC power supply. It works well, but noise is not ok. It's like crackle. Not good((
