Don't think I've seen a thread on this. OSHPark, well known for PCB fabbing from Eagle .brd files (no gerber converting needed) introduced a while back a new feature, where users could share PCB designs and other people could get those PCBs fabbed and shipped to them at their own cost, no intervention from the original uploader needed.

So I thought a thread linking OSH stuff could be useful.

Here's my profile (chiefly pedal stuff)

Here's my bi-polar PSU -- provides +/- 12V DC (or 15, depending on the regulator), with heatsinks as big as you like able to be bolted on.

It needs a center-tapped transformer.

Hi Alan have you tried your PSU pcb with wall adapter as well or just mains power? Looking for one that's well suited to wall adapter use, have traditionally used the MFOS wall wart supply but they're on hold at the moment, given Ray Wilson's health situation.

Strategy, to use my psu with a wallwart (ie, non centre tapped), omit D2 and D4, and do NOT connect AC-2.

Attach the two AC lines from your wallwart socket adaptor to "TRANS-CT" and "AC-2".

Test before using.

Frequency Central has a good wall wart supply available.

I made this SOT-363 to DIP adapter.

It's not just pulling the pins straight out though, but adapting the the pinout from dual transistors BC(M)847, BC857 etc to the pinout of LM394 and SSM2210 DIP dual transistor packages.

I have tested and used this with CGS48 VCO's and it works fine.
The preview pictures on oshpark makes it looks like the solder pads would interfere, but they don't in reality.
It could probably be improved by extending the solder pads a bit to make hand soldering easier...

I did something like this a while ago, and also included some pads for smt thermistors.
Sot363 is pretty small though, the 847's and 857's are also available in sot457, lends itself to hand soldering a little better (I myself cannot handsolder sot363 anymore)

Inline attenuator, using two right-angle 3.5mm jacks, and a 9mm pot.
