Hi, I have a Nord G2 that I'm hoping to set up to use as my midi controller for Ableton. I'm currently using the midi out on the keyboard into the midi in on a Focusrite Scarlet, which is connected to my computer via usb. When running a VST in Ableton I'm able to use the keyboard to play notes within the 37note C-C range. The Oct +- functionality is what I really need and it's not communicating with Ableton (maybe the focusrite is getting in the way?). It shows that midi is registering when I press the buttons (according to lights illuminating within ableton), however pressing the buttons don't effect the octave unfortunately. The good news is that the modwheel works so there is hope.

Solved by activating "global octave up down" on the Nord G2 keyboard. This is done by pressing the shift button (grey button near the octave up down buttons) and pressing the left octave (down) button simultaneously.
