For a few decades, I have been using an original happy birthday tune to sing to my brother. I will stick with that and would encourage others to compose their own tunes. The "traditional" tune is rather old.

Glad to see that those who were strong-armed by licensing agencies (e.g., coffee houses where musicians played their own music), might be able to get some of their money back.
