Quote:
There is an IRC chat channel dedicated to electro-music.com:

server: irc.blitzed.org
port: 6667
Channel: #electro

People who can't attend the event can share their experience with the streams by talking in the chat room. If you have a Windows PC, you can get to the chat channel via a special Java application by clicking here. (Unfortunately, this only works with Windows. If you have a MAC, use the iChat application, or other IRC application, and use the abovementioned server, port and channel info to connect.)

Some of this info is wrong. First of all, the chatroom works fine with OS X 10.3.9 and also Tiger. Second, the iChat app does not support irc.
Very Happy

Uncle Stein, dont make mosc upset now :X
Im pretty sure there is someway to modify the chatroom or OSX 10
to prevent function of the javachat, and maybe there is
a patch (or recode iChat from scratch) to make iChat support IRC =)

im such an ass....

Erm, I don´t think that´s a OS issue, it sounds more like a browser one. If you go with Firefox you should get your Java directly from Sun. You can debate how good a thing that is, but at least that means it´ll stick to standards.... Isn´t Opera available for OSX too? Opera uses Java directly from Sun too.
