I recently went through an interesting time building two CGS49 PCBs. In the end the first board has a problem and possibly some damage due to experimentation with wiring the board up.

The second board works fine. The filter is an outstanding addition to any system.

I put together an article detailing the build which I hope will be useful to others who want to try the CGS49 filter.

The article can be found at this link

Included in the article is a video demonstrating some of the filter's capabilities.

In addition here is a link to a thread on Muff Wiggler where I was working on debugging the first filter.

For anyone who does not know, Rich (Flareless) sometimes builds 5u modules to sell.

I purchased a CGS01 and Barton Switched transistor filter from him.

His attention to detail is awesome. His quality is equal to or above the synthesizers.com modules, and his prices were very reasonable.

Yes I started buying some modules ya all.

Also Rich has a great how to silk screen panels on his web page he listed above. It's worth taking a look at if you are thinking of trying it.

Flarelesses CGS01 and Barton filter next to synthesizers.com modules.

Thank you so much for the kind words Chris!!!

I'm glad you're enjoying the modules.

Over the next few months I plan to expand my product range with more of Ken's awesome CGS modules plus several from other manufacturers.

I'll be updating my Product Page in January with the additions.

Thanks again and have a wonderful holiday season!!
