Reminds me of some old scifi movie... Solaris maybe? The russian one.
Sounds gorgeous! I'm imagining red and white images of nuclear power plants (and trees) on Mars, and the creatures living amongst them. _________________ Muied Lumens Sub Forum

Thanks Jan
hmm voice like,. I guess you mean the sound that comes in at around 5 minutes and then repeats throughout ?
That is actually just a random part of the noodle sampled with the SK1 and then looped by holding a key down,
which also pitches it down. It might be the low bitrate that made it sound a bit voice like. It is also going through
a slow phaser but that didn't add a whole lot to the sound. This noodle actually started out with using the Roland,
or rather Pholand, ADSR in cycle mode triggering the ARP filter, which together with another sound is connected
to the WaveWiper to create an auto panning effect. And I also had the CV input of the delay connected to the
output of a S&H which sounds especially nice when it suddenly get's longer pitching everything down. (you can
hear an example of that around the 8:29 mark) _________________ "My perf, it's full of holes!"

Interesting, I got a bit of an old scifi vibe from it myself as well. I actually did almost call it Solaris but then it might be referencing the movie too directly.
Of course I had to use Sol in the title being a special Sol day today The photo I used for the cover is Sol as seen from mars. _________________ "My perf, it's full of holes!"

Yeah I got the reference... On Mars, every day is a Sol day. _________________ Muied Lumens Sub Forum

That's some interesting sounds coming from Solarius; it's like a suspenseful array of satellites trying their hand at diplomacy. _________________ I'm an aspiring artist, and I also aspire to inspire! =D |

Thanks Jan and of course PHOBoS. And oops, I had forgotten to upload the cover art (although I had put it in the MP3 in case anyone downloads it).
