In slots A, B, C a patch.
And control it from D(Var)

wicked! Put a bit of glide on the random pat gen (to stop some occasional clicks), a guitar signal through it and be amazed. Very cool, Roland!!!

Yeah, that's phat Roland. I'm getting some great sounds out of it running some patches in slot a and b, and the sherman in slot d. Time to hook up my mpc2000 and check out what it does to some drums Smile

Yeah Afro, midi sync your drumgear. The nice thing with the G2 is theLFO.
It follows the midi clock, just like the real thingy Cool
And if you use FM on the drums, you can get some wicked things.
Tune the FM osc low(!) in that case. About 400-700 Hz. The Filter
Freq(with resonance) is important as well. Try things 1st without Filter Modulation, and add little by little more stuff.

Cheers Roland, I'm getting some nice drum craziness through this thing. The FM stuff can get a little out of hand, but it's fun. This is perfect for creating new drum kits (ie running a loop through it, recording the output and chopping it up again).

Just experimenting, there are some great sounds here - though I have no idea what's going on.

What do you mean 'control it from D(Var)'?

Probably : control it from SLOT D with variations from 1 to 8

You seem to dig in a lot of old topics recently. I like to do that sometime too! So much nice tips, conversations and patches since all that time !
