I tried to think of a smart and simple way to just being able to provide a trigger signal, and it plays wave only once:

However as can be seen the Pulsedelay outputs a negative value even though its range is set to be positive only. Am I misunderstanding how range work, or is it a bug?

Also for pulse delay when in stretch mode, I am unclear about if it stretch from the end of the incoming pulse, or from the start?

About pulsedelay again, if I manually enter "1.839 s" as duration, it seems to last about 10-15 seconds. Maybe I am doing something wrong don't know.

And sorry about all these recent posts about bugs and stuff on your forum, its just that your program is very cool, so I use it alot. Smile

heh .. it is okay to talk about all the bugs, things can only get better from it. Besides things are what they are, and it is not like my life depends on people using or liking Wren :-)

So, thank you for trying things. And keep 'm coming the bug reports - you will find more. What I can easily fix I will, what I can not fix easily will still be stored in my head and who knows, maybe some day I see the light :-)

Re. manually entering values ... that just does not work properly, only under some conditions it will ... sorry about that. It needs a major redo of the internal units system to make it work properly .. or so it seemed to me the last time I looked at it.

Re. things stopping to work, I'd be very happy when you could come up with a recipe to make things fail with certainty ... or even likely. Knowing how to make a bug appear is half the work of solving it.

Alright, did some more testing then:

Pulsedelay outputtype "positive" also give negative values:
Reproducable every time.

How pulsedelay stretch work:
I did a test with real slow input, and it seems like it stretches from start of trigger pulse, which is also what is most useful (to me atleast). I think it would be a good idea to add that to the F1 help though.

Yes, both are correct - I fixed the ouput signal type issue for the next release (the code forgot to even look at the selected type) and changed the help text a bit to hopefully make it more clear.

The stretch mode actually makes a fixed pulse length, no matter how long the input pulse width is - it will stretch a short one and truncates a long one. So this influences the positive bit of the incoming signal only.

The delay mode shifts the whole pulse in time, so its length will not change but it will come later. This will delay both the positive and negative part of the incoming signal.
