Introducing the Fourth Dimension space music project |

Dear electronic music fans,
Let me introduce the Fourth Dimension space music project.
I have been listening to electronic music for about 35 years. I always wanted to compose and play music as well, so I set up my home studio in 2005 and started my music career.
Originally I am a guitar player but I was always interested in synthesizers as well. I named my band Fourth Dimension and I referred to it as a project, because there were no other fellow musicians in my band, just me. I am determined to carry on the great ancestors music style - Tangerine Dream, Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre -, but I really love listening to Mike Oldfield’s and The Alan Parsons Project’s music too, so I want to create a new electronic music style which contains their music style, but something new, something different which is mixed up with my individual music style of course.

Listened to Secret Places (album) |

| I had some documentation work to do and cued up the Secret Places album. Great work. This is the kind of music I like to have playing while I am doing something like that. You could argue that I didn't really listen to it if I didn't focus my attention on it completely. But, I seem to have one of those brains that needs something for one part to pay attention to while the other part does something else. Once you do a lot of documentation work it gets a bit rote anyway. I hope to get the time to listen to your other work as well. |

You can listen to music in different ways, sometimes you concentrate to it highly while other times just do something and it plays in the background.

I was working on this song for long weeks, I used several new studio equipment and software synthesizers to achieve the imagined sound. This composition contains three parts: Lop, Peak, and Silence.

Just imagine, that you are lying in the grass on a clear summer night and looking at the starry sky. You don't see only the stars but constellations as well. Finally you select one and looking at that one for long minutes realizing how deep the Space is.
"Constellations" is the latest composition from the upcoming TFDP album, Cosmic Waves. Enjoy!
