Some people might prefer to read the book, which is also in the public domain and is available in a number of print formats, or even follow along with the reader. See, for example, http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/41654, https://people.umass.edu/klement/imp/imp-ebk.pdf, among others.

I remember with fondness attempting to read Whitehead and Russell's Principia Mathematica, but the copious details were beyond my capacity to sit still and decipher it all. Still it was fun to at least grasp some of the general concepts--the "proof" that mathematics is a rather logical philosophy with complex consistencies. https://archive.org/details/PrincipiaMathematicaVolumeI.

Another book in the public domain that might appeal to some is Whitehead's easy-to-read book on Symbolism: https://ia601601.us.archive.org/11/items/in.ernet.dli.2015.166010/2015.166010.Symbolism-Its-Meaning-And-Effect.pdf. It is not specifically about numbers, but rather addresses the nature and importance of symbolism and how it works. It is short and can probably be read in anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour.

I tried it and got a headache. Not that it doesn't make sense, it does. It's just that I was also listening to some AlanP music and the two just aren't very congruent. Shocked
