A couple of days ago I drove down to pick up my new G2X I bought from Sayer, AKA SayersWeb. Of course I was happy to pick up the new ax, but it was great to meet Sayer who I met here on electro-music.com. He and his wife have a beautiful home. They share it with some beautiful cats, many tanks full of colorfull and relaxing tropical fish, and a very beautiful pond with Koi.

Sayer has a very nice studio you can see on . http://sayersweb.com/

Here's a little snap of us - just standing there. Laughing

It was great to meet "Mosc" in the real world. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit, although it was way too short! Smile

True... but I felt bad about doing that. Howard really deserved a few days off.

Wow! I thought this post was going to be about Mosc collaborating with Leo Sayer! Imagine that for an all-star hook-up!

Cool

The link has the extra "." at the end. It should be:

LOL! Well, my studio no longer looks like that anymore. Howard was the first to see the new look! Smile

Sayer is a very neat guy. I mean, he is neat. His studio has no clutter of junk hanging around. I was very impressed and inspired to clean up my studio. Unfortunately, the feeling wore off when I got home. Laughing

Say, I saw a google ad for pond turtles on this topic. So much for content directed marketing...

Hey, man, good to see you here. Long time ago. G2X still works and is still my favorite instrument.

Howard! Great to hear from you... and good to know the G2X is still treating you well.

I got away from music shortly after our visit, selling most of my synths. Started up again in 2013, mostly with soft-synths. Recently, started using hardware synths again, some that I owned previously.

Today, I found a Micro Modular at a good price and decided to buy it after loading up the editor software to ensure it still works after all these years. Should be here in a few days. Smile

Came very close to buying an Andromeda a month or so ago, but after reading about failing units I decided it is not the risk. That was my all-time favorite synth.

Since early 2010 I've lived in a Houston suburb called Sugar Land.

Next time I'm in Houston I'll look you up. It won't be in the summer...
