This patch started off as just running the three Living VCOs into the NLC Phaser/Flanger, to see what it could do. Then it mushroomed from there.

I wound up playing with the Random Reference knob on the Klee, as well as strategically pulling the cables going into the output module.

Started out playing with FM on the Living VCOs, didn't like the sound much. Tried all three VCOs into a phaser, didn't like that much either, today. Went to two VCOs... hey, what's this amazing beating? I like this effect...

I'm not sure where all the other stuff came from.

Started out playing with Elements, for the drone (wound up plugging in a baby ten sequencer, purely for a gate out to keep Elements going). The FM in for Elements was tied to the Waverunner in S&H mode, with the WR being digitally sync'ed to the Dunno's FRV. Every now and again, it changed the tone of the drone. Every rare now and again, it bugged out and went into superspeed.

The other part of this was more playing with trying to get a Krell-like patch going.

I'm rather happier with this than with elemental drone.

The 'Strength' input is what gives the nice dynamics to the Elements' output.

I was playing with the PT2395 delay. The main echoing sound in this one is the Elements, being FM'ed by the NLC Sloth (the rising/falling sounds are from segments of the Sloth's dual well chaos loops), and I think it worked out nicely.

The background synthy stuff is the Braids, going through the Old Crow Suiseki phaser, going through the FCUK Electro Cardiogram (which has a bit of unconnected LFO gating an envelope going into the VCA/VCF CV.)

Feels a bit like those horrible drinking sessions when the world is spinning, and you feel like you're going to be horribly sick, but you seem to hang forever on that precipice, never quite plummeting to the hangover, but your head keeps whirling, and you just try to keep some kind of grip...

Using the Nine Sixty purely as a trigger generator, and as a VC clock (on, off, rate.)

Built an Ornament & Crime yesterday, and was playing around with it a bit.

So far, I quite like the Copiermaschine app -- the Analog Shift Register. I had all four CV outs going to various noisemakers, with the single CV input coming from the 960.

I played around with adding and subtracting voices, skipping stages on the 960, skipping TO stages, and messing with the on/off for the clock. Quite like how it turned out.

Upgraded the firmware in my Ornament&Crime module, and found a short little loop I liked in "Viz Nutcracker, Sweet!", the 8-bit-alike app, and ran it through the Minimoog VCF. I also got some neato sounds running the audio into the CV-In for the 329 Phase/Flanger.

Then I started playing around with the trigger bus thing for the 960 I made a few weeks ago to generate an envelope for a melody from the 960, VCO'ed by the Living VCOs, and ARP4072 filtered.

Obviously I had to get a drum beat for this, too Smile

A bit of chaos from the Sloth into the Minimoog VCF's CV and the O&C's CV1 (controlling Speed), and the rest was me messing around with the trigger bus switches. B-bus for the drum, and A-bus for the melody Smile

So, not my next door neighbour, but the next house over. I'm told that it's some kind of possum de-furring machine. Whatever it is, it's damn loud. (Suburban neighbourhood, not commercial or light industrial.)

12 Gauge "Red" microphone, btw, just hanging out my window.

nice synth alan Smile

Canada is probably a reference to Boards of Canada who use this typical modulated/detuned sound.

Brief test of the sequential switch. The nice thing about it being DG412 based is that not only is it bi-directional, it can also handle bigger signals than the original 962 switch.

Chuff sounds was Elements, chord sounds was Braids in three-saw mode with the other two saws tuned lower and lower again, then run through a reverb.
