I made a slight variation to the moduletta VCF, adding a manual frequency pot in addition to the binary inputs.

Here's a schematic of it:

Hey! Moduletta is awesome! I found it only recently and now I would like to have a board for it! Is there any leftover? Or maybe, we can manage a group buy... Very Happy

I am very fond of the simple diode VCF from the moduletta, it has great character, not subtle but very good in its own way probably due to the non linearity of the diode.

Just rummaged through my project box and there are four Moduletta boards left. Please PM me if you are interested.

Syn, I'll take 2 of the boards if still available..

I'll build one out for my son as "baby's first synth" and build one up for my classroom, to get some steam going on the "Techno Machine" Electronics class project . . .

PM sent

~Steve

Hi everyone, hope you're doing ok.

I wanted to share a patch created with Moduletta in the last days; some weird glitches could be heard which I cannot really explain to myself (for example the tempo that seems to slow when the lower notes are executed): it has been really fun.

Everything comes from the Moduletta and was recorded without further manual interventions.

Thanks a lot Synaesthesia for having me introduced to CMOS synths; let us know if some Moduletta revision is on your way Smile Smile

nice groove

could the tempo changes be caused by fluctuations in the supply voltage ?
(frequency would probably increase with a lower voltage)

Yes there is. It will be something completely different. More than 20 modules so far, and most of them analog (opamps). All are small, simple, single-supply and inspired by West Coast Synthesis. I wonder if it is appropriate to post them in the Lunetta forum... Any votes for a better place?

Either way, I'm following Smile I'm planning to replace my RCO's and LFO's with your design as my next project...
