Happy New Year everyone!

This year it seems I am the first to finish a little project. Very Happy
This is Inventors Karplus-Strong project from 2010. Still had a PCB waiting to be populated. Besides some tuning it works great Smile

And now, lets all post some photos, and good luck DIYing this year!

Always feels good to wrap up a longrunning project. I've had this on the backburner for a couple years now -- while the panel says 2018, the back of the pcb says 2016 Embarassed Catgirlsynth Stomp Box Adaptor.

Yusynth Comparator. With how well the CGS60 panel turned out (I tried ordering aluminium for the material, rather than the usual FR4 pcb material), I kinda wish I'd ordered this and the sequencer in aluminium too. Forgot the bypass caps on the PCB... eh, I can patch them in on the back if I find they need it.

Right. So, I've had this on the backburner for awhile, and electrically, it's all sorted. The toggle switches I used, however, are cheap and do not match the pots' height. Plus the panel is a trifle too short, and two mounting holes don't match. Quibbles! (Although I may well do a new panel!)

Nice, the wiring on the original is mindboggling indeed, good way to simplify.
With respect to the switches, there's a Tyco switch which is small enough, the APEM TL series will work, and Thonk has submini switches with a height which matches 9mm Alpha and PC mount jacks. All of 'm are a lot more expensive than the "el-cheapo Chinese" SPDT's though.

great job on the sequencer alan, looking at it again it must have been quite a challenge
to get everything on such a small panel space and conncet it all up as well. thumleft

Syna is a 13 voice poly analog synth with touch sensitive keyboard. It was built as a thesis work. Keyboard made from pine wood, case from steel.

Thanks.

Inside is some 200 meter of wire and casual pcb's, comparators, integrators, inverting and non inverting op amp's. Sorry, don't have picture and dare not to open hood, because prototype tends to have new faults every time the hood is open.

Built myself a little prototype board. Looks pretty crappy in a line with all your beautiful builds, but it is actually very useful. It has 4 fixed voltages (12V, 9V, 4,5V, 5V), 10x mounted pots and different audiojacks. Sorry for the crappy pics.

I have thought about making something like that many times before and I think I even have a list of things I wanted to incorporate.

Hey Phobos, took me around 5 years to finally built this. It was finished in a few hours and it is totally worth it...

Just on the final leg of another Minimoog Clone - This one is built from the Guin Guin MME kit, and sounds amazingly like a genuine Minimoog (no reason why it shouldn't - same circuit to the 3046 VCO version), and still cheaper than hacking the Behringer D.

Probably doesn't yet count as "finished" but here's my Appendage PCB fully stuffed.
