Subject description: Looking for synth music involving field recordings, inspired by birdsongs, performed outdoors, etc.

Hi guys! I'm looking for references for a project... I always merge my music with field recordings, try to give it a forestish vibe and recently I've been trying to mimic birdsongs with my Nord Modular (which can be surprisingly accurate I tell you!).

Do you know any musicians which similar / somewhat similar stuff? Doesn't matter if the music is recent or not. People that use and process field recordings, are inspired by birdsongs, like to perform outdoors or anything related to nature and its sounds, or even events which took place in similar conditions or had a similar spirit.

I mean like anne annie's modular field trip series, Jean-Claude Risset's Sud, or even birdsong influences in Messiaen's work... The more interweaving there is between natural and synthetic soundscapes, the better.

This is one of ann annie's videos performing

And this is Jean-Claude Risset's Sud. This is pretty pretty similar (at least in spirit) to what I'm trying to do... merging field recordings and synth sounds imitating those.

Do you guys know any musicians that do this kind of stuff???

Thanks!!

You might find something you like on
No Labels No Musics
No Labels No Musics II
No Labels No Musics III
No Labels No Musics 4
which are albums entirely made with fieldrecordings posted on this forum.

I also used a lot of fieldrecordings myself for the album Collidoscope.
Actually I incorporate (animal) fieldrecordings quite often in my music, like pigeons, sheep, cows, chickens to name a few.

Probably not exactly what you are looking for but maybe it's inspirational.

edit: "All Systems Drifitng Normal" might come a little bit closer to what you are looking for.
